I've lived in the Coachella Valley for over 20 years — and was visiting for more than 20 years before moving here with my partner (who actually grew up here!) I know this desert well — its brutal summers, its seasonal shifts, and the unique demands it puts on a home the moment you lock the door and leave.

My background includes real estate, home renovations, and hospitality — and that combination turns out to be a great training ground for home watch services. Years of hands-on renovation and handyman experience means I know how homes are built, how systems work, and crucially, what the early signs of a problem actually look like. I'm not just checking boxes on a list — I am looking at your home with a trained and experienced eye.

The moment that started all of this was kind of a "happy" accident. Friends had gone away on vacation for a few months and asked me to pop into their home to find some paperwork they needed. When I walked in, the house felt more humid than it should have — so I called and asked for their permission to "snoop around" a bit and investigate. Turned out a small leak had developed in a supply line for their washing machine, and I was able to nip the problem in the bud before it became something far worse. That moment stuck with me — and the seed for Friends Home Watch Service was born!
